I'm giving you 30 Days, okay?
Yes, I'm still here, still trading, still accepting and taking new orders, still advising, still answering emails, still creating screenshots, still doing this and that to keep everything moving forward and I intend to do so until the year zip...
...and if I can't, I'll find somebody else who can!
What I've noticed in myself about trading is not the fact that I just trade to get my Points but what I'm willing to through and have to go through to get them.
When times are good and I'm getting my Points with ease, I feel good and when times are tough and I'm getting my Points with a struggle, I still feel good...
...but the feeling good aspect in the latter part of what I wrote above does not come easily. I do not sit there smiling away when I'm struggling with achieving my '10 Points A Day' target, in fact I get downright frustrated but frustrated enough to turn it all around to achieving at least a few Points on my favour.
I get frustrated enough to remember that I will 'Never Give Up!'
And what if I lose?
That's what frustrates me!!! And I know, you too!!!
If I lose, I give up for the day (but not permanently) as I do not lose often but if I do, it's usually because I did something completely out of character and talking of character...
Did you know and realise the markets have a character?
The FTSE 100
has a character...The DOW 30
(or Wall Street) has a character...The DAX 30
has a character...The Shanghai Index
has a character...The Nikkei
has a character...The makets have a character, all of them, no matter what you care to trade and the reason the markets have characters is simply because the people behind the markets, the people who move the markets, the traders of the world all have characters, individual characters...
...and you're one of them too, whether you choose to trade today or not!
And if you put all of those characters together (including yous) into one Big melting pot, such as the markets, it creates an almost living breathing being, a mass of minds all thrown together to gives us those Yearly, Monthly, Daily, Hourly, Half Hourly and consecutive Minute (as in 60 Seconds) moves each and every trading day.
And what we do over here is follow them in one way or another, what we do is trade them, not necessarily every day, as trading every day can be painful at times.
Why painful?
It's a bit like talking to somebody who refuses to talk to you, what a pain!!! A pain in the neck, more like.
Imagine asking somebody a question, an important question, a question where perhaps your lively-hood or deep interests lie and that person does not respond, by not even making eye contact with you, or acknowledging you in any way.
And then... what if another day you ask the same or similar question and that same somebody answers you and gives you all the information you need, how would you feel on the days when you get no response from that somebody on the days they refuse to acknowledge you?
Frustrated?
Angry?
Upset?
Put those three feelings together and it becomes a painful experience but more mental pain. So on the days you feel you are not getting any answers out of the markets, leave it well alone, we do, so we don't get dragged down into those feelings of pain and frustration and thus give up on our trading altogether?
We have 'Faith' our questions will be answered and we have 'Faith' that we may be asking the wrong question, so at times, we rephrase our question or trading technique, by changing the way we do it, ever so slightly, you knew what I meant, didn't you?
You know what?
What also comes to mind re: asking and not getting a response is asking for a prayer to be answered, sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't but that's another story (or is it?), or Blog to be written.
Why give up on your 'Deams' when you have a 'Golden Goose'
at your very hands? Learn to look after your 'Golden Goose'
, care for it, nuture it and make sure it gets everything it needs to keep on producing those 'Golden Eggs', those nuggets – because after all, your 'Golden Goose' is in fact you, not anything outside of you, not the markets, it's your own ideas and trading techniques.So, that's another way at looking at how the TTT works. There are new ideas being worked on in the pipeline and soon enough, all will be revealed but you know what?
It takes 'Super-Trader Trait' #9 to get it all done and 'Super-Trader Trait' #9 for you to have to wait for what we're about to deliver.
We're not into rushing stuff out over here matey, we wait until it all works before we release anything.
Anyway, I've been hitting target most days I trade and once I do, I'm off as... as you know, the concentration it takes to trade is sometimes 'tooooo' much but we are working on an even easier way to get the job done, so 'Watch This Space!'
And now?
I'm off to do something completely different.
